Tasks and responsibilities

The Selenium Test Engineer will be responsible for building and maintaining a Selenium server environment, and creating and executing test scripts to against multiple applications. The initial focus will be for testing IBM Maximo using the test scripts provided by IBM. These will require modification to meet configurations in the deployed Maximo environments.

Key Responsibilities:

Building and maintaining a Selenium server environment
Creating and keep a library of test scripts using appropriate version control
Creating test scripts for multiple applications
Modifying existing test scripts for multiple applications
Executing test scripts for multiple applications
Working with product support team to understand test script results

Studies

Your profile

Required Skills:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
Proven experience in test automation engineering with Selenium
Experience in building automation scripts or software that interact with web browsers and online platforms
Proficient in scripting languages such as Python and Java
Knowledge of software development lifecycles, software testing methodologies, and software deployment best practices
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to work well in a team environment and to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders
Attention to detail and strong organizational skills

Preferred Skills:

Experience with cloud-based infrastructure and deployment platforms such as AWS or Azure
Familiarity with additional programming languages or tools that enhance automation capabilities
